Customer Survey - A (hopefully) short list of questions distributed to a group of target customers. Online creation tools like Survey Monkey and Google Docs are free and both are good for analyzing results. A few things to keep in mind when developing a survey:
1. Really think about your questions and what you want to learn from the survey. Don’t ask questions just ask…
2. Start (or finish) with some general demographic information – Service should be anonymous so they can release state their opinions, but it’s generally a good idea to get general demographic data (sex, age range).
3. Try to make it as short as possible, people are busy and have a short attention span
4. Make it worth their while – a store coupon, people who entered get a chance to win a prize, at minimum, let them know their opinion matters and will improve your products and services
